Our community support team will be Springing into action when the warmer weather comes!
As most of our customers and the general public are aware, ServiceMark Heating Cooling & Plumbing has been giving back to the community, for over sixty years, with involvement in everything from Charity 5K running events to Community Days in our towns and boroughs.
The ServiceMark Community Support Team has proven to be resourceful, fun and a highly respected arm of ServiceMark as it continues to give back and serve the greater public good.
“We cannot knock on thousands of doors to personally thank folks for supporting us and giving us their trust these last many years but we can say “thank you” by giving back and helping make life a little easier for us all” states George Davis Marketing Manager and founder of the Community Support Team. “We do volunteer many weekend hours but it’s worth it because it’s not only fun but you get a very rewarding feeling and sense of comradery with your fellow employees who are working alongside you” Davis states.
Now that warmer weather is right around the corner, ServiceMark has been organizing and scheduling several events starting with its support of the 17th Annual Kelly’s Logan House 5K coming on Sunday March 13th, which raises funds to fight Parkinson’s disease. “Our team will be on site in Wilmington supplying and handing out water, and other take-home goodies, at the finish and generally helping to organize and support the event”, Davis reports.
Several other events have been scheduled, for the months ahead, and more are continually added to the schedule.
In total, the ServiceMark Community Support Team will assist in the organization and support of over three-dozen events in 2016.
“We are the Presenting Sponsor of the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware race and the Caesar Rodney Half Marathon both coming up in the next couple of months. The Caesar Rodney event benefits the American Lung Association and the Ronald McDonald event help families stay together with their children during very difficult times” adds George Davis.
